How to pick this exam type

How to dictate

Any order works, but it is easier to follow the visit: reason and complaints, external examination, the mouth, the dental chart, the tooth of interest, imaging, diagnosis, what was performed, plan and recommendations. Name teeth by the two-digit number: "thirty six caries", "two six filling", "forty eight missing". All usual forms work: "sixteen", "one six", "1.6".

What the report will contain

A one page visit record: header with the doctor and the date, sections Visit, Examination, Dental chart, Local status, Diagnosis and treatment. The chart shows only the teeth you named, the rest take no space. The document exports to Word and PDF, edits are made in the cabinet before printing.

Reference ranges are printed for information only: the service does not compare values with norms and does not write a diagnosis. The impression stays yours.

After processing

The result arrives in 20-40 seconds. Any value, label or unit can be corrected in the editor and formulas recalculate. The document opens in Word and PDF, prints from the browser with the patient name typed on the spot, and can be shared with a colleague by link.

Do I have to pick a speciality: general, prosthetic, surgical?

No. There is one shared package because the structure of a visit is the same. If your speciality needs extra lines, add them as your own sections and they will be reused.

How do I dictate many teeth?

One after another: "sixteen crown, two six secondary caries, four six missing". Every named tooth lands in its own row of the chart.

Does the service make the diagnosis?

No. The diagnosis is the doctor's decision. The service records your wording and adds nothing.

What happens to patient data?

Family name, date of birth and chart number never reach the server. You add them to the finished document before printing.

Can I dictate while working in the mouth?

Yes, recording runs on the phone or in the browser, your hands stay free. You can send it for transcription right after the visit.
