Abdominal ultrasound

Abdominal ultrasound by voice: liver, gallbladder, pancreas and spleen report in a minute

The abdomen is the most common study in the room and the most monotonous to write up: the same sizes, the same phrases about contours and echogenicity. Dictate them at the scanner and get a finished report where unremarkable already stands wherever you said nothing.

Who it is for

Sonographers in outpatient clinics and hospitals, internists and gastroenterologists with a scanner, mobile specialists. The package: liver, gallbladder and ducts, pancreas, spleen, free fluid, 27 parameters in total.

Sign up in a minute

  1. Open the app or the web cabinet and enter your email. No password: you get a code and a sign-in link.
  2. Signing in is the registration. Free minutes are credited at the start, no card needed.
  3. Fill the directories once: physician, workplace, scanner. They go into every report.

How to pick this exam type

Pick Abdominal ultrasound in the Exam type list. If it is your most frequent study, the list remembers it. Set up physician, workplace and scanner once in the directories.

How to dictate

Go organ by organ in your usual order: liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, fluid. For organs with several sizes say the numbers in a row: right lobe 118, left 62. Descriptive phrases such as smooth contours, normal echogenicity, homogeneous go to text fields; if you skip them, the defaults stay.

What to watch

What the report will contain

Tables for five sections with sizes and reference values, text fields with your wording, the impression. The text layout reads as continuous paragraphs per organ, like a paper form.

Reference ranges are printed for information only: the service does not compare values with norms and does not write a diagnosis. The impression stays yours.

After processing

The result arrives in 20-40 seconds. Any value, label or unit can be corrected in the editor and formulas recalculate. The document opens in Word and PDF, prints from the browser with the patient name typed on the spot, and can be shared with a colleague by link.

Frequently asked questions

What about an organ I did not examine?

Say kidneys not examined or simply skip the section: empty fields are not printed.

How do I dictate several lesions?

List them in one phrase with location and sizes. The text goes to the organ's lesion field and can be split into rows in the editor.

Do I have to say units?

No. Sizes are in millimetres, vessel diameters too. If you say centimetres, the service converts.

Are kidneys and bladder included?

They have their own package. If you scanned everything, create two records from one dictation: the audio can be uploaded again.
