Prostate ultrasound by voice: gland volume and residual urine in a Word and PDF report
The prostate report is short but has a volume calculation that has to be done every time. Dictate three sizes and the volume appears by itself, next to its reference value.
Who it is for
Urologists and sonographers seeing men over 45, following BPH and treatment. The package: access, prostate with volume, seminal vesicles, bladder with residual urine, 14 parameters.
Sign up in a minute
- Open the app or the web cabinet and enter your email. No password: you get a code and a sign-in link.
- Signing in is the registration. Free minutes are credited at the start, no card needed.
- Fill the directories once: physician, workplace, scanner. They go into every report.
How to pick this exam type
Pick Prostate ultrasound. Say the access, transrectal or transabdominal, as the first word.
How to dictate
Access, then the prostate in three sizes: width, anteroposterior, length. Then contours, structure, nodules and calcifications, seminal vesicles, bladder, residual urine after voiding.
What to watch
- Triplet order: width, anteroposterior, length. The volume uses the ellipsoid formula.
- Describe nodules and hypoechoic areas with zone and size in one phrase.
- Residual urine in millilitres, bladder wall in millimetres.
- If the scanner measured the volume, say it in words and it replaces the calculation.
What is calculated automatically
Calculated fields fill themselves when the inputs are dictated. Every formula shows its inputs.
- Prostate volume = 26.2 ml
prostate_width_mm * prostate_ap_mm * prostate_length_mm * 0.523 / 1000
What the report will contain
A prostate table with the calculated volume and its reference range, seminal vesicles, bladder, impression. The document in Word and PDF, table or text layout.
Reference ranges are printed for information only: the service does not compare values with norms and does not write a diagnosis. The impression stays yours.
After processing
The result arrives in 20-40 seconds. Any value, label or unit can be corrected in the editor and formulas recalculate. The document opens in Word and PDF, prints from the browser with the patient name typed on the spot, and can be shared with a colleague by link.
Frequently asked questions
Is PSA printed?
The package has no laboratory fields. PSA can be added as a custom row in the editor.
How do I dictate PI-RADS?
State the category in the lesion description or the impression, it is kept as text.
Are there age-specific reference values?
A general adult volume range is printed. Add age norms manually if needed.
Can I combine it with kidney ultrasound?
Those are separate packages, create two records. The audio can be uploaded to both.
