Pelvic ultrasound by voice: uterine and ovarian volumes calculated, report in Word and PDF
Gynecologic ultrasound is many triplets of numbers: uterus, right ovary, left ovary, plus endometrium and cycle day. The service takes the triplets by ear, calculates volumes and separates sides; you describe structure and write the impression.
Who it is for
Sonographers and gynecologists, fertility specialists doing follicle tracking. The package: access, cycle day, uterus with volume, cervix, endometrium, right and left ovaries with volumes and dominant follicle, free fluid, 31 parameters.
Sign up in a minute
- Open the app or the web cabinet and enter your email. No password: you get a code and a sign-in link.
- Signing in is the registration. Free minutes are credited at the start, no card needed.
- Fill the directories once: physician, workplace, scanner. They go into every report.
How to pick this exam type
Pick Pelvic ultrasound. Say the access, transvaginal or transabdominal, as the first word or choose it in the editor. Dictate the cycle day as a number.
How to dictate
Order: access, cycle day, uterus with three sizes, position, myometrium, endometrium, cervix, right ovary with three sizes and follicles, left ovary, free fluid. Describe fibroids and cysts in a phrase with location and size.
What to watch
- The uterine triplet is length, width, anteroposterior: the volume uses the ellipsoid formula.
- Ovaries are triplets too, the volume is calculated for each. The dominant follicle is a separate number.
- The endometrium is one number, its reference range is printed by cycle phase.
- List fibroids with location: intramural node on the anterior wall 22 mm. The text goes to the uterine lesions field.
What is calculated automatically
Calculated fields fill themselves when the inputs are dictated. Every formula shows its inputs.
- Uterine volume = 55.3 ml
uterus_length_mm * uterus_width_mm * uterus_ap_mm * 0.523 / 1000 - Right ovary volume = 6.2 ml
length * width * thickness * 0.523 / 1000 (ellipsoid) - Left ovary volume = 4.7 ml
length * width * thickness * 0.523 / 1000 (ellipsoid)
What the report will contain
Tables for uterus, cervix, endometrium and both ovaries, calculated volumes marked, reference ranges by phase, the impression. The text layout reads as a classic gynecologic report.
Reference ranges are printed for information only: the service does not compare values with norms and does not write a diagnosis. The impression stays yours.
After processing
The result arrives in 20-40 seconds. Any value, label or unit can be corrected in the editor and formulas recalculate. The document opens in Word and PDF, prints from the browser with the patient name typed on the spot, and can be shared with a colleague by link.
Frequently asked questions
Which volume formula is used?
Ellipsoid: three sizes multiplied and times 0.523. The formula is printed in the footnote.
Is the package suitable for pregnancy?
No, pregnancy has separate packages by trimester.
How do I report postmenopause?
Say postmenopause instead of the cycle day. The endometrium reference range in the report includes the postmenopausal value.
Follicle tracking over time?
Each visit is a separate record. Compare by documents or by the result link.
