Only what the protocol needs
SonoForm is built to hold as little as possible. Patient identity never enters the system.
No patient identity
There are no fields for name, date of birth or record number. Documents carry age, weight and height only when you enter them. Identifying data is added by you outside SonoForm.
Audio deleted by schedule
Recordings are kept for 14 days and deleted automatically; you can shorten the term in your profile. Text, fields and documents stay until you delete the record.
Isolated accounts
Each record, document and link belongs to one account and is served only after an ownership check. Sign-in is by one-time code to your email; sessions can be revoked at any time.
Speech recognition and structuring run on external AI providers; a dedicated EU configuration is planned for the international edition.

Does SonoForm give conclusions or assess the norm?
No. Reference ranges are shown for information, without colouring or automatic comparison. The impression contains only what the physician dictated or typed.
Which languages does dictation support?
The interface is available in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian. Dictation language is detected automatically or set in the profile. Protocol field labels are currently translated to English and Russian.
Where do the recordings go?
Audio is stored in the project's own storage and deleted after 14 days. Recognition and structuring are performed by external AI providers under contract; recordings are not used for training.
Can I correct what the model got wrong?
Yes. Every value, unit, reference and label can be edited; changes are saved automatically and documents are rebuilt on download. Unrecognized phrases are listed separately and can be moved into fields.
How do I record on the phone?
The Android app pairs with your account by QR code and sends segments as you record; additions to the same study are merged. Recording from a browser is available on the record page.
Is this a medical device?
No. SonoForm is a documentation assistant. It does not interpret images or measurements and does not make diagnostic decisions. The physician remains responsible for the protocol.
