New release: sharper measurements, and every term can be heard
The SonoForm team has shipped a release: ultrasound measurements are captured with noticeably higher quality, and any term can be found in the voice track and played back at the right spot.
The SonoForm team has shipped a new release. The headline: the quality of ultrasound measurement capture has improved substantially.
We do not simply turn speech into text. Recognition works hand in hand with the ultrasound measurements and the vocabulary of each exam type. The service knows which parameters belong to an echocardiogram or a kidney scan, which units they come in and how they relate to each other. That is why the numbers land in the right fields of the report instead of getting lost in the transcript.

The right term, heard at the right spot
The service now locates a term in the voice track. Each measurement has a new play button next to it: press it and playback starts one second before the moment the physician said the value. There is no need to scrub through the whole dictation to check a single number. While the fragment plays the button turns into stop, and the value can be corrected right away.

What else changed
The recording waveform is always visible at the top of the record, and the measurements table header stays put while you scroll. The transcript can be downloaded as PDF or Word or opened in the browser. Reference ranges on the printed report are switched on with a single checkbox.
All of this is already live in the web workspace; nothing needs updating.
